Today I finished up my research completely and double checked to make sure that I didn't miss anything too important. I also have finished my slideshow, so I have practiced it and it was about 4:23. I have finished, therefore I am ahead of what I thought I would be by eight days.

"A person under 18 years of age shall not operate a bicycle, or ride upon a bicycle as a passenger, upon a street, bikeway, as defined in Section 890.4 of the Streets and Highways Code, or any other public bicycle path or trail unless that person is wearing a properly fitted and fastened bicycle helmet that meets the standards of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI Z 90.4 bicycle helmet standard), the Snell Memorial Foundation's Standard for Protective Headgear for Use in Bicycling, or the American Society for Testing Materials (ASTM F-1447 standard). This requirement also applies to a person who rides upon a bicycle while in a restraining seat that is attached to the bicycle or in a trailer towed by the bicycle."
I am glad that this law is in place in the state of California because it protects me and the people around me. For example if I am riding a scooter, bike, or a skateboard, I am protected by my helmet. Plus, I never have to worry about my friends being injured in an accident on a wheeled object.

"Since 1916, the National Park Service has been entrusted with the care of our national parks. With the help of volunteers and partners, we safeguard these special places and share their stories with more than 275 million visitors every year. But our work doesn't stop there."
I enjoy Sequoia National Park because it is immensely beautiful. I went to Sequoia when I was on my way to a christian camp with my grandpa at Hume Lake. It was the first time I had ever gone to the national park, and it quickly became one of my favorite places that i have ever been. I am very happy to know that this wonderfully beautiful place is protected by the National Park Service.

"Planning ahead and packing properly can facilitate the screening process and ease your travel experience at the airport. Know what you can pack in your carry-on and checked baggage before arriving at the airport by reviewing the lists below. Even if an item is generally permitted, it may be subject to additional screening or not allowed through the checkpoint if it triggers an alarm during the screening process, appears to have been tampered with, or poses other security concerns."
This represents my right to be safe, and I feel secure boarding a plane knowing that I am out of harm's way because of the restrictions on certain liquids, objects, and other substances.
